I dint know much about carbon nano tubes before Dr. Kim shed some more light on it. As I researched on the practical implements of these nano tubes, I came across this amazing piece of information. It actually sounds more like a science fiction but it really is happening and not in the very distant future we can travel to the space just as comfortably as in an elevator. The scientists are working on building an enormously tall strings of nano tubes that can carry space ships into the space. Well, there would be a gigantic space station floating in the space and there would be a elevator sort of thing with base in the earth and that pierces through the earth's atmosphere.Once successfully built, this could change the way we perceive about space.
